Lost for Words

Shiny tiny little crystals were floating on the water as the half bitten moon continued to shine in the quiet darkness. The high waves crashed upon the shoreline making a pleasing sound as it added a little life to the dead air. My body was laid on a beach chair which was placed just 10 steps away from the shoreline. When the African drummers ended their programme, I could feel a pair of warm hands encircling on my lower waist. The familiar warmth sent a chill down my spine when the figure behind me pressed his masculine chest against my bare back. The feeling was just perfect and I never wanted it to end.

"You know the scene in front of us is as beautiful as you?" said Kai softly. His cheesy words made a slight smile appear in my soft lips. As the cool breeze blew across the shores, his long and slim fingers slipped into mine. Soon we were standing adjacent to each other.

“How you feeling?" I asked when he appeared to be staring at space. A quick trail of silence lingered in the air when no reply was passed back. I stared at him to make him realise that beside him is a girl standing who needs his attention more than anything else in the world. It was as though he read my thoughts when we locked our gazes with each other's. I was lost in his brown eyes which had the most loving look. He parted his tender lips to reply but a buzzing sound rose from his other hand.

"I'll take this one," Kai stated before he drifted away into the darkness leaving me behind who only wanted his presence. My body automatically sighed because of the loneliness that was there at the moment. The waves made me feel a little wanted. The night was beautiful but brought lonesome.

"A little fragment from the Kai fanfic that I am currently working. Think of this as a teaser."

Your p.o.v

The billboard lights illuminated in the young darkness that filled the skies. The road was silent and gloomy with no one to judge. My cut-off leather boots were pressing the accelerator and my hands were sweaty as it held onto the steering wheel. The hood was off and my silky hazel hair was flowing to the direction of the wind, tonight. My mind had to make a decision tonight and right now it seemed as if it was final. And that didn't include him.
